The first
launch of the BioDiesel Society of India’s new initiatives took
place on June 29th 2007 in Bangalore, through a
networking dinner where all stake holders were present.

Dear guests,
We are delighted to receive you to
the BioDiesel Society of India’s very first Power Dinner, on this
Saturday June 30th 2007 in Bangalore. Through this dinner,
the BioDiesel Society of India is launching its new initiatives,
particularly the “1 Billion Trees – Social Energy Plantation Program’,
thus continuing its campaign for using non-edible oil-based biodiesel
to create a more self-sustainable, prosperous and greener India.
The aim of this evening is to
introduce the biodiesel industry to other related industries and spread
awareness of this new renewable, sustainable fuel. The society aspires
at using the contacts and knowledge obtained from this event for
providing an impetus to its awareness, energy security, rural
development and environmental programs. The various presentations
featured tonight will therefore focus on the importance of biodiesel
for the Indian industry, for the country and the world.
